Paint Correction

In the world of fine automobiles, the art and craftsmanship of detailing, and more substantially, paint correction, has come to be recognized as not only something to be desired, but something that can now be attained- mastered by those select few with a true passion and skill for the achievement of the highest level of paint reconditioning. This mastery takes an ordinary paint job from the manufacturer, to the super gloss and perfect finish one would expect from exotic and luxurious vehicles.

Paint correction, at its core, is a labor intensive process which uses proper compounds and polishes to bring about the finest restoration to a vehicle's painted surfaces. This is a skill not learned by many, and is a modern day art form, utilizing the best polishing techniques and newest technologies in the industry. Only true professionals, paint correction specialists, can provide this type of service. We provide different types of paint correction according to your needs and budget, from a daily driver that only calls for a one-step paint correction, to exotics, up to a Concours detail, which necessitates multi-step paint correction.

At the start of this process a thorough assessment evaluating the condition of the paint is done, from type of paint, to its thickness, in order to safely plan for the most effective polishing. It is during this time, scratches, swirl marks, holograms, water-spot etching, oxidation, and any other paint imperfections are noted. From there the customer can choose which level of paint correction fits with his/her budget and plan.

We not only do paint correction on abused vehicles, but also on brand-new cars delivered from the manufacturer with imperfections; swirl-marked, scratched, and water-spotted cars from the dealership, and sand-marked, heavy with residue vehicles out of the body-shop. These conditions are often a result of improper washing and drying techniques, unskilled detailers, and mass-production work that sacrifices quality for speed. Not all detail businesses are trained or employ professionals. At Rivera's Exotics, we are committed to continual learning and training, staying on top of industry innovations and techniques. We will only improve the look of your car, not damage it, as untrained detailers often do.

Once your car's paint has received our paint correction services, we highly recommend having one of our protective coatings applied. These products prolong the new finish and shine for years to come (with proper care). See Coatings Page for more information.
